Moabi Kotu. is an independent recording artist originally from Soweto South Africa currently based out of Phoenix Arizona.
Kotu’s Music is rooted in African traditional music, it’s fused with Jazz, Afrobeat, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Gospel, and Rock as he draws inspiration from music across the globe.
Moabi is inspired by Bob Marley, Hugh Masekela, Robert Glasper, Richard Bona, Fela Kuti, Salif Keita, just to mention a few of my favorite artists.
